ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ (ਭਰਮ ਦਾ ਛਉੜ ਕੱਟਣ ਲਈ) ਇਹ ਕਾਰ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਲਾਜ) ਕਰੋ
The True Guru has commanded us to do this:
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ) ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ
through the Guru's Gate, meditate on the Lord Master.
ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ (ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਵਾਲੀ) ਬਣੀਏ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ) ਅਕਲ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ।
Through the Gurdwara, the Guru's Gate, one obtains understanding.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਹੀ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ) ਧੋਤਿਆਂ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
By being washed through this Gate, it becomes pure.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਅਪੜਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸਵਾਂ ਦਰ ਭੀ ਵਿਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।
Through the Gurdwara, the Guru's Gate, some are blessed with loving faith, and the Tenth Door is revealed to them.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪਾਂ ਨੌ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦਾ
There are many images of the Lord, and the nine treasures of the Naam; His limits cannot be found.
ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ—(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ) ਦੇਹ; (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ) ਦੇਹ; ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
Everyone says, "Give! Give!" As He pleases, He gives.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ) ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹੀ ਜੀਵ (ਮਾਇਆ ਵਾਲੀ) ਤੇ੍ਰਹ ਮਿਟਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ ।੩੦।
Through the Gurdwara, the Guru's Door, He gives, and quenches the thirst. ||30||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਸੁਣਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ,
At the Gurdwara, the Guru's Gate, the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises are sung.
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਸ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਉਚਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਇਹ ਉੱਦਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ।
Meeting with the True Guru, one chants the Lord's Praises.
