(ਹੇ ਮਨ ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ) ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ-ਸਹਮ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹ
So offer your prayers to Him, the Giver of Peace, the Destroyer of fear.
ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਿਹਰ (ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ) ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸਿਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ।੩।
Showing His Mercy, the Merciful Master shall resolve your affairs. ||3||
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ
My comings and goings in reincarnation have come to an end; He Himself has bestowed His Mercy.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ (ਜੀਵਨ-) ਸਾਥੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਐਸਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਘਰ ਬਣਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।੩।
I have obtained my home in the True Mansion of His Presence, realizing the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||3||
(ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ
Blessing us with His Glance of Grace, the Kind and Compassionate, All-powerful Lord comes to dwell within the mind and body.
ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ, ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ, ਇਹ ਧਨ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।੩।
My soul, body and wealth are His. Forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to Him. ||3||
(ਸੋ ਇਹ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਹੇ ਡਰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਰੀ ! ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖ ਲੌ
The Lord is the Merciful Destroyer of fear; He preserves and protects His slaves.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ! (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਅਲੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾ ਲਈਦੀ ਹੈ ।੨੦।
O Nanak, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and see the Unseen Lord God. ||20||
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਰਾਖੀ (ਦੀ ਵਿਓਂਤ) ਕੀਤੀ ।
He cherishes and nurtures all beings and creatures.
ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਏ) ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਤੇ੍ਰਹ ਭੁੱਖ ਵਲੋਂ) ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰੱਜ ਗਏ ।੩।
He is Merciful, Kind and Compassionate. All are satisfied and fulfilled through Him. ||3||
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ !) ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ) ਵਿਆਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ,
The Merciful Lord is totally pervading and permeating the water and the land.
ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।
I am forever devoted, a sacrifice to Him.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ! (ਆਖ—) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ।
Nanak is a sacrifice to those who have merged with God.
ਮਾਘ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਸੱੁਚੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਆਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ।੧੨।
In Maagh, they alone are known as true, unto whom the Perfect Guru is Merciful. ||12||
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੀਵ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਤਰਦੇ ਹਨ ।
He Himself is Merciful and Forgiving. Chanting the True Name, one is saved.
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—) ‘ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਹਾਂ’ ।੨੦।
Whatever pleases You - that alone is good; slave Nanak seeks Your Sanctuary. ||20||
ਹੇ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਤ੍ਰੁੱਠ ਪਏਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਸਹਿਜ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ
When You are pleased, O Merciful Lord, you automatically come to dwell within my mind.
ਜੀਵ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਨੌ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ (ਹਿਰਦੇ) ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ
When You are pleased, O Merciful Lord, I find the nine treasures within the home of my own self.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ,
When You are pleased, O Merciful Lord, I act according to the Guru's Instructions.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੀਵ ਸੱਚ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।੧।
When You are pleased, O Merciful Lord, then Nanak is absorbed in the True One. ||1||
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਉਸ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ ‘ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ’ ਆਖ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਆਪ ਠੰਢ ਪਾਈ ਹੈ
Waaho! Waaho! The Creator Lord Himself has brought about peace and tranquility.
ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੈ ।
He is Kind to all beings and creatures; meditate forever on Him.
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ-ਜੋਗਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ) ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
You are merciful and all-powerful; You Yourself cause us to serve You.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ
Those whose minds in which You dwell are forever at peace.
ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਭੇਟਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਾਂ
I can only make the effort, if the Lord is merciful to me.
ਮੈਂ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ ।੩।
I sacrifice my body and soul to Him. ||3||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ।
You are the Merciful Master; I am Your humble servant.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—) ਸਾਡਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ।੪।੨।
O Nanak, the Lord and Master is totally permeating and pervading everywhere. ||4||2||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ
I am a sacrifice to my Guru.
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ) ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ (ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।ਰਹਾਉ।
God, the Great Giver, the Perfect One, has become merciful to me, and now, all are kind to me. ||Pause||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ—ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖ) ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ (ਸਭ ਉਤੇ) ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ
Seeking Your Sanctuary, I live, almighty and merciful Lord and Master.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰੀ ਇਹੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਮੈਂ ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।੨।੧੮।
Twenty-four hours a day, I worship God; Nanak is forever a sacrifice to Him. ||2||18||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
Merciful, the Lord Master is Merciful.
ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
My Lord Master is Merciful.
ਹੇ ਅੱਲਾ! ਹੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾਇ! ਸਾਰੀ ਖ਼ਲਕਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਹਾਨ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ
You are the Master of Your creation, the Lord of all the world, O Merciful Lord God.
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਧਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੋਜ਼ਕ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ।੨।
One who worships You day and night - why should he have to go to hell? ||2||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਵੇਲੇ ਘਬਰਾ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਆਸਰੇ ਨਾਹ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਫਿਰੋ
The Merciful Lord saves the honor of His slave.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਚੇਤਾ ਰੱਖ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ (ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ) ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜੋ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ) ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਹੈ (ਤੇ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ (ਜ਼ਰੂਰ) ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ।੨।੬।੮੬।
Guru Nanak speaks - it is confirmed in the Court of the Lord. ||2||6||86||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਦਿਆਲ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲਿਆ ।
The Merciful Supreme Lord God has carried me across the world-ocean.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪੂਰੇ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ) ਭਟਕਣਾ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਮ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
The compassionate perfect Guru has eradicated my doubts and fears.
ਹੇ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ! ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ (ਸਭ ਨੂੰ) ਨਜਾਤ (ਮੁਕਤੀ) ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ।
You are the One and only merciful Master,
(ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ) ਪੀਰਾਂ ਪੈਗ਼ੰਬਰਾਂ ਸ਼ੇਖਾਂ (ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਨਜਾਤ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ) ।
spiritual teacher, prophet, religious teacher.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
The Merciful Lord Himself emancipates.
ਉਸ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਏ ਹਨ ।
He created and established all beings and creatures.
ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਸ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ।
As He wills, so is the path we take.
ਜਿਸ ਰਾਹ ਉਤੇ ਤੋਰਨਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਤੋਰਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧੩।
He Himself is the Merciful Giver of peace; as He wills, so do we follow. ||13||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਗਣ ਵੱਲੋਂ) ਪਰਹੇਜ਼ (ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ), ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ।
He Himself is detached, and He Himself is attached.
ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ ਐਸਾ ਹੈ) ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੋੜਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ।੧੪।
He Himself is immaculate, compassionate, the lover of nectar; the Hukam of His Command cannot be erased. ||14||
ਹੇ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਬੇ-ਮੁਥਾਜ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!
He is inaccessible, unfathomable and self-sustaining.
ਹੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਵਰਗੇ) ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ! ਹੇ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ! ਹੇ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ!
He Himself is merciful, inaccessible and unlimited.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
God has been merciful to Nanak.
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਤੋਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਤੋਂ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਸਰਦਾ ।੪।੧੦।
May I never forget God; He is my heart, my soul, my breath of life. ||4||10||
ਤੂੰ (ਚਾਰ ਵੇਦ-ਰੂਪ) ਚਾਰ ਦੀਵੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਜੁਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਫੜਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ।੧।
He placed the four lamps, one by one, into the hands of the four ages. ||1||
ਹੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਖਸਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਜਿਥੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਿੰਦੂ-ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਘਰੋਗੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੇਂਦਕੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਥੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨੀ ਰਾਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਭੀ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ) ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ) ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
The Savior Lord is kind and compassionate forever.
ਉਸ ਦੇ (ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ।
